The world of the 21st century is being increasingly defined by the opportunities and challenges posed to our culture and to our social well-being by information technology. To address these challenges and opportunities, an interdisciplinary group of scholars and researchers is building a collaboration that will draw on the world-class expertise of Wayne State University in studies of culture and technology. By combining empirical research, theory-building, and problem-solving through real-world engagements, this collaboration will provide a model for addressing the challenges of technology and achieving a unified vision of the integration of knowledge.
