Investigate and document the interplay of culture and information technology in both local and global social and organizational contexts.

Develop value in products, including metrics, instruments, tools and processes that improve the ability of organizations and communities to implement and manage information technology leading to key outcomes in the areas of productivity and quality, including quality of life.

Serve as a center of expertise for scholars and practitioners to access knowledge resources, share experiences and discuss pressing issues concerning information technology and its relationship to the community, to industry and to government.
